4. Informative Sustainability Zone

Let’s not forget that adidas is all about saving our oceans too! Their partnership with Parley for the Oceans since 2015 opens the doors to environmentally friendly, innovative footwear concepts. Throughout their continuous effort in reducing carbon footprints, adidas has crafted over 30 million pairs of shoes using Parley Ocean PlasticTM by the end of 2020. Besides, recycled polyester accounts for more than half of polyester used in adidas products, and the brand is looking to entirely cut out virgin polyester by 2024!

When you visit the adidas Brand Center Sunway Pyramid, don’t forget to check out the informative Sustainability Zone that exhibits the process of turning marine plastic waste into primeblue high-performance recycled material. The furnishing in the Sustainability Zone is made of reclaimed wood and recycled yarn to further support the commitment!

5. Hyper-Localisation through collaboration with Valen Lim

To support our local artists, adidas has collaborated with Valen Lim, a graphic designer and illustrator from Penang, in conjunction with the brand center launch. Tomorrow, the products of their collaboration, such as logos, art prints, and several functional pieces in the brand center will be unveiled on the second floor. Show your support by dropping by the adidas Brand Center Sunway Pyramid!

Prepare to be impressed by the hyper-localised experience zones in the store where there will be Malaysian kopitiam-inspired adidas Trefoil logo, store signages, and art prints. Remember to also check out the adidas kopitiam-styled menu on the community table, as well as the typical kopitiam blinds with imprinted adidas footwear series, where you can take super aesthetic photos!
