Thailand netizens were shocked after a mother deliberately abused her daughter on a video call because she was unhappy that her husband wasn’t answering his phone. The footages were posted on social media, although it is not clear who had posted it.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the woman’s husband had gone to work in Bangkok and was not answering his phone. So the woman decided to use their three-year-old daughter to inflict fear and guilt on her husband.

She video called her husband and began abusing the girl by strangling her daughter and even stomped on her neck with her foot.

In the video, the girl can be heard wailing and crying in pain and even fainted from the abuse. At the end of the video, the mother even forced the girl to kneel down to deliberately make her husband angry.

The man’s family, who saw the video that was posted on Facebook, could not stand it and called the police. The girl was then taken away by the man’s family to be taken care of.

Call

Feeling guilty, the mother went to her husband’s family home to apologise. However, the family insisted that she should not be spared and that legal action would be taken against her.

The police have since launched an investigation into the case and have accused the mother of assault, which violates the Child Protection Act.

Beg

It is believed that the couple has another one-year-old child who is currently living with the woman’s parents. They had originally lived in Bangkok before moving to the Roi Et Province, reported China Press.
