The famous restaurant in Thailand, Staneemeehoi known for its dancing, cross-dressing performers fondly referred to as the Thai Hot Guys, will soon be relocating to a new venue.

In an official statement, the restaurant, located at Huamum Night Market in Lat Phrao, Bangkok, announced that it will continue operating at its current location until July 31, after serving customers for over nine years.

The announcement follows the end of their lease with Huamum Night Market. However, the closure is only temporary, as the team is actively searching for a new location in Bangkok. While the new venue has yet to be confirmed, the management assured that updates will be shared with visitors in due course.

As for Malaysians who wish to visit Sathaneemeehoi in Bangkok once it reopens, there is a piece of good news for you.

You may no longer need to travel to Bangkok for Sathaneemeehoi.

In a statement released by the restaurant’s owners, Dee & Wow, on July 5, they revealed plans to expand to Kuala Lumpur, which may become their first stop in Malaysia.

“We have a bigger plan in mind, and for now, the Bangkok location will be put on hold until we secure a suitable venue.”

As of July 6, no specific dates have been announced for the reopening in Bangkok or the potential launch in Kuala Lumpur. Nevertheless, fans have reason to be excited now that Dee & Wow have confirmed their intentions to bring the experience to Malaysia.

Stay tuned for updates, and in the meantime, you can follow Staneemeehoi’s official Instagram page for the latest news.
