27-year-old Thai beauty queen, Suphanee Noinonthong, was crowned the Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026 title on 20 September. A couple of days later, she was stripped of the title.
The cancellation of her title was made after explicit photos and videos of Suphanee circulated on the Internet, prompting the pageant organiser to issue an official statement to address the matter.

Thai beauty queen stripped of title after an explicit video of her went viral
The pageant organiser said that Suphanee’s engagement in certain activities is not aligned with the pageantry’s principles, hence the termination of her title.
In its statement dated 22 September, the organisation vows to improve the selection and supervision process to maintain the standards, credibility, and values of the pageantry. Before she was stripped of the title, Suphanee was slated to compete against winners from Thailand’s 76 other provinces in 2026.
In a report by The Thaiger, Suphanee, sometimes known as “Baby”, was seen wearing pink see-through clothing and dancing in front of a camera. At points, she appeared to use a sex toy, smoke an e-cigarette, and apply lipstick to various parts of her body.

“I needed the money to care for my mother”
Soon after the official announcement on the removal of her title, Suphanee shared a tearful apology video on her socials to address the matter and explained why she had to participate in the explicit content.
According to Suphanee, her journey towards the now-revoked title was not a walk in the park. With both her parents no longer here, Suphanee said she struggled a lot before she achieved her short-lived success, saying that she would appeal for opportunities in the entertainment industry, but there was a reason why she made the wrong choice that sealed her fate.
“My financial hardship in the past had driven me to participate in nude photoshoots and videoshoots to care for my bedridden mother.”

Her mother has since passed away, but Suphanee continued to work hard until she achieved the title, only for it to be removed 2 days later.
In her apology video, Suphanee also expressed her determination to improve herself and move forward as a better person. She further clarified that her photos and videos have been misused by illegal gambling sites without her consent.
Suphanee added that she will be filing police reports against the sites that misused her images.
“Please give me a chance to start a new life,” Suphanee remarked in her video.
