Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, claimed that his party is aware of certain parties giving cash to voters in Sabah.

Ahmad Zahid admitted that it is considered the voters’ “rezeki” (fortune), but at the same time, he reminded Sabah voters to continue supporting BN.

Urges voters to take the cash but stay loyal to BN

“We found out that there are parties and coalitions giving cash to voters. Some are giving RM300, RM500, even RM1,000,” he shared.

“That’s rezeki, take the money, but keep your heart and vote for BN.”

“However, surely we wouldn’t sacrifice Sabah’s future for RM300, RM500, or even RM1,000, and let the people suffer for another five years,” he said during the launch of BN Sabah’s manifesto at the UMNO Sabah office.

He also said that his party will monitor the implementation of the manifesto.

“I will monitor the implementation one by one if we govern Sabah. I will ensure there are Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in place. In addition, I will make sure there are National Key Result Areas (NKRAs),” he said.

Therefore, Ahmad Zahid hopes the people of Sabah will give BN a chance.
