Concert tickets can be pricy, especially when big names are coming to town. If you can’t afford one, how far are you willing to go to get one?

A Taiwanese man, who is also a fanatic Jay Chou superfan, recently went viral for his otherworldly effort to get himself 6 tickets to Jay Chou’s upcoming show in Taiwan, which was already sold out – using his house as payment for the tickets.

In a Facebook group, the man said he was willing to exchange a small house in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for 6 VIP tickets to the Jay Chou concert.

He assured potential buyers that it was NOT a scam, though he was very picky about the seats.

“I want the tickets for December 7 and I want 6 consecutive seats in the first row in Zone A3 or Zone A4. The title deed of my house can be proven.”

According to the seating chart at Jay Chou’s concert, each ticket at A3 and A4 cost 6880 yuan (approximately RM935). The man wanted 6 tickets,  which cost a total of 41,280 yuan (approximately RM5612).

In what was thought to be an attempt to get tickets for his friends, the man admitted that he would be going alone.

“I am the only one going, and I want 6 seats so I can stand out.”

Jay Chou recently performed in Bukit Jalil, KL, and in an unforeseen circumstance, one of the fans gave birth outside the stadium before the show started.

Regardless, what do you think of this?
