A 26-year-old Malaysian resident singer was brutally murdered in Taman Chi Liung, Klang recently, where the suspect stabbed the victim 8 times. The stab in her chest has been confirmed to be the cause of death.

Just yesterday (December 20), PDRM confirmed that jealousy is the motive behind the gruesome murder. According to reports by Malaysia Gazette and New Straits Times, the Deputy Chief Police of Selangor, Datuk S. Sasikala Devi said the 44-year-old suspect and the victim were lovers.

Deadly jealousy

The victim, Xu Jia Ling went out for lunch with the suspect on Monday (December 18), and they argued in the parking lot where the stabbings happened after lunch.

“The quarrel was believed to have started during lunch, before the victim was stabbed near her car,” Sasikala told the media at a conference.

Jia Ling’s funeral will be held for today (December 21). The public is also advised not to jump to any conclusion while the investigation is still ongoing. Stay tuned for more updates!
