A gruesome murder in Hong Kong recently shocked the world, with the headless body of model Abby Choi found in an apartment. Soup pots that contained human tissues and equipment such as a meat slicer and an electric saw were also found.

Just yesterday (February 26), police in HK confirmed that they have found Abby’s head. They found a skull and ribs in one of the soup pots that were seized, but that was not all.

The pot was also filled with soup and minced meat believed to be human remains. Carrots and green radish were also found in the pot. Was the killer getting ready to consume Abby’s meat?

According to RTKH, forensic experts found a hole behind the right ear of the skull and believed that she was bashed to death. The police believed that Abby was attacked in the car and she was unconscious when the vehicle arrived at the apartment, which they have described as a “slaughterhouse”.

In the meantime, the search for Abby’s other body parts, including her hand and torso continues.

As of Saturday (February 26), 4 suspects have been arrested – Abby’s former parents-in-law, brother-in-law, and her ex-husband, Alex Kwong.

Alex was nabbed at the Tung Chung pier where he was getting ready to flee the country. The police also found HKD4.5mil ( approximately RM2.5mil) worth of cash and luxury watches with Alex when he was caught at the scene. His 63-year-old mother was arrested and charged with obstructing the case.

The main suspects are in custody at the time of writing, but the police have said that none of them is willing to cooperate, which has made the investigation process even tougher.

HK01 reported that in search for Abby’s remaining body parts, more than 100 elite divers and police officers were deployed to carry out an underwater search for the missing body parts at a water catchment area in Tseung Kwan O cemetery, where Alex’s father and brother were seen on Wednesday.

Abby, on the other hand, was last seen on Tuesday.

The police added that the murder was “well-planned” and premeditated, and believed that Abby’s father-in-law, who was also a former policeman is the mastermind behind the murder.

Alex will be charged with 1 count of murder, and all suspects will be brought to the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Court today (February 27).

With the manpower involved in this case, we hope that Abby’s remaining body parts will be found soon, and hopefully, the perpetrator behind this gruesome murder will be brought to justice.
