An afternoon thunderstorm with heavy winds hit Klang earlier today (1st October), causing a number of trees to fall over, and even roofs to blow over. According to The Star, the heavy storm began at around 2.15pm this afternoon.

Parts of Subang also experienced heavy rains and flash floods affecting parts of the Federal Highway, including Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang. As of 4.27pm, Astro Radio Traffic reported that there would be one-hour delays from the Skypark roundabout to the Federal Highway.

On top of that, even Sunway Pyramid was affected by the heavy rain, with parts of its underground parking lot experiencing significant floods, as shown in a viral video that was posted about two hours ago (4.28pm).

Hopefully, by now, the flood waters would have receded a little and traffic will be getting back to normal. Remember to check your Waze app to find the best route home before leaving the office. Drive safe, everyone!
