The curtains have closed on Sunset by NEON 2025, and what unfolded over the weekend in Genting Highlands will be remembered as one of our most refined and unforgettable editions yet.
This year’s edition by NEON Projects Sdn Bhd welcomed 18K festivalgoers over two days, practising controlled crowd capacity to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and crowd management. By focusing on lower crowd density, we created a more open, enjoyable space for attendees to fully immerse themselves in the music and atmosphere without compromise.
1. Production at the Highest Level
Sunset by NEON 2025 was powered by a homegrown, in-house design combined with a world-class level of production, brought to life through the expertise of our international partners from Europe. The result was a show that balanced both artistry and precision, setting a new benchmark for music experiences in the region.
2. The Ultimate Hospitality Experience
This year, hospitality reached unprecedented heights with three layers of VVIP experiences. Guests were treated to the VVIP Terrace, and not just one but two onstage VVIP decks, paired with an additional freestanding 500-capacity deck right on stage. This gave fans the ultimate backstage experience, placing them closer to the music than ever before.
3. A Lineup That Made History
Music took centre stage with over 12 local acts, 2 regional artists, and 7 international headliners — with six of them making their Sunset by NEON debut. From rising local talent to globally renowned names, every performance was curated to bring both energy and emotion to the highlands, leaving no moment forgotten.
- ADAM BEYER: A techno powerhouse since the ‘90s, Adam Beyer, founder of Drumcode Records, has headlined iconic stages like Tomorrowland, Awakenings, and Creamfields, delivering precision-engineered, euphoric sets that define why he’s one of the genre’s most in-demand acts.
- MASSANO: One of melodic techno’s fastest-rising stars, Massano has ignited stages from Tomorrowland to Time Warp, blending his chart-topping Afterlife and Drumcode anthems with a futuristic, high-concept vision that turns every set into a cinematic journey.
- ARGY: From Panorama Bar to Amnesia, DC10, Hï Ibiza, and Pacha, Argy has built a global reputation for hypnotic, genre-blurring sets, with chart-topping releases and a modern dance music masterpiece cementing his status as one of house and techno’s most enduring and in-demand artists.
- KREAM: Norwegian brothers Daniel and Markus Slettebakken, better known as KREAM, have amassed over a billion streams with their melodic tech house sound, while their globally acclaimed LIQUID : LAB series transforms Norway’s most stunning locations into unforgettable live dance music experiences.
- KOROLOVA: Ukrainian melodic house and techno sensation Korolova has captivated crowds from Tomorrowland’s mainstage to EDC Las Vegas, amassing over hundreds of millions of YouTube views and streams with euphoric, storytelling sets that blend global festival energy with an intimate emotional touch.
- KASIA: Polish-born, London-based Kasia crafts eclectic DJ sets blending house, dub, and techno with deep grooves and funk, thriving across underground scenes from East London warehouses to Berlin’s Club Der Visionäre
- INDO WAREHOUSE: New York-based Indo Warehouse pioneers ‘Indo House,’ blending South Asian culture with global house and techno through dynamic events, a record label, and a movement redefining the electronic music landscape.

Above all, Sunset by NEON 2025 was about creating a space where fans could feel truly present, safe, and part of something greater. From the carefully controlled capacities to the attention to hospitality and design, every decision was made with the audience in mind.
