Halloween is creeping closer, and if you’re already looking for activities to get into the spooky spirit, you might want to keep MyTOWN on your radar.
From 9 October to 1 November 2026, the mall is transformed into the House of Vampires where you can find gothic-inspired décor, mysterious encounters, trick-or-treating, and more!
But there’s one problem: an impostor has somehow made their way into the House, hiding among the Halloween crowd. And if you think you’re good at spotting the odd one out, this might be your chance to prove it. Here’s what you can look forward to at MyTOWN House of Vampires 2026.
Step into the House of Vampires
For 24 days across four weekends, MyTOWN will be giving the mall a Halloween makeover with House of Vampires-themed decorations and photo spots for you to check out.
The decorations will be up daily from 9 Oct onwards across Sunken Garden, Level 1, and B1, so you can take your time walking around, checking out the different areas and snapping some Halloween pics along the way. And while you’re exploring, keep an eye out; you never know what, or who, might be hiding around.
Think you can spot the impostor?
This is where things get a little more interesting. On selected weekends, MyTOWN will be having its very own Vampire Takeover, with Halloween characters and cosplayers roaming around the mall from 12 PM to 6 PM. Vampire characters and cosplayers will be popping up around MyTOWN, meeting shoppers, posing for photos, and getting you to join the Find the Impostor challenge. You can catch them on:
- 17–18 October (12 PM to 4 PM)
- 24–25 October (12 PM to 6 PM)
- 31 October–1 November (12 PM to 4 PM)
And keep an eye out for cosplayers such as Mikki & Ying Tze, who will be part of the lineup.
So, how does Find the Impostor actually work?
- There’s one impostor hiding among the roaming Halloween characters, so keep those eyes peeled and see if you can spot who doesn’t belong.
- Once you’ve got your suspicions, approach the character and take on a quick game or interaction to see if you’re right.
- Complete the challenge correctly, and you’ll walk away with an Exchange Token.
- Bring your token to Level 1 and redeem either a Halloween Canvas Tote Bag (650 pts) or Halloween Squishy (250 pts), while stocks last.
Sounds easy enough, right? Just wait until you’re standing in front of a whole bunch of vampires. 👀
Time to go Trick-or-Treating
Got little ones who love Halloween? On 24 and 25 October 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM, MyTOWN is inviting families to join its Trick-or-Treat Walkabout, where little Halloween fans can dress up, grab their buckets, and go around the mall collecting treats.
Head over to Sunken Garden to register and check in via the MyTOWNKL App. Pre-registration opens on 1 October. Once it’s time to set off, families will be assigned one of six different routes. From there, it’s all about following the route and stopping by the different tenants for the little ones to fill up their buckets.
Speaking of buckets, every participant will receive a pumpkin bucket and wristband before setting off. If you’ve got a mini vampire, witch, or ghost at home, feel free to dress them up for the occasion. Spooky side note: Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not compulsory.
Don’t rush home once you’ve reached the end of your route; there’s another treat waiting for you:
- Routes 1 & 2 → Checkpoint A: Grab some soft serve
- Routes 3 & 4 → Checkpoint B: Get a serving of cotton candy
- Routes 5 & 6 → Checkpoint C: Pick up some popcorn
The little trick-or-treaters can look forward to collecting treats from 50+ participating tenants, including:
- KKV
- Canton Boy
- TGI Fridays
- apricot by Peaches and Cream
- 100 Hours Curry
- Daiso
- Gamers Hideout
- LG and more
If one round of trick-or-treating isn’t enough, you can come back for more on 31 October and 1 November. From 10 AM to 10 PM, Grab a Bucket: Self-Guided Trick-or-Treat lets you take the candy hunt into your own hands. Just collect a bucket from the Concierge, then wander around MyTOWN to pick up your Halloween treats. No need to stick to a particular route; just follow wherever the candy takes you.
Get creative at Halloween workshops
Want to do more than just walk around and take photos? You can also get creative at MyTOWN’s Halloween Workshops happening on 31 October and 1 November, from 12 PM to 6 PM at the Level 1 workshop area. Little ones can try their hand at making Mix Jelly Cups and Marshmallow Pops, with plenty of fun, family-friendly activities to keep those creative hands busy.
Fancy a little Halloween shopping?
Besides all the spooky activities, you can also check out the Surprise Bazaar at Town Park from 22 to 25 October, from 10 AM to 10 PM. Once you’ve had your fill of vampires and Halloween photo spots, head over to the bazaar to see what spooky finds and surprises you might come across.
