A Singaporean gamer took his preparations for the highly anticpated Grand Theft Auto VI game a step further by drafting a formal contract for his wife to sign!
Popular Singaporean gaming creator @juliantaytm, better known online as JulianTechTM, went viral on Threads after sharing photos and a video of his wife signing a printed “GTA VI Gaming Agreement” ahead of the game’s release.

“I love my wife. Thank you so much! LETTTT GOOOO GTA 6 !!!!!!!!” he wrote
Strict “no disturbance during missions” rules
Julian explained that he modified an existing internet contract template to make it customized and funnier. The printed agreement listed several humorous terms governing his upcoming gameplay period:
-
Gaming period: Full permission to play as much as he wants during the official launch window.
-
No disturbances during missions: Requests, distractions, or questions must wait until missions are completed.
-
Allow time to recover: Statements like “It’s just a game” or “Haven’t you played enough?” are strictly banned when failing a mission, while “You’ve got this” is an approved response.
-
Requests at convenience: Hugs, errands, and quick favors are permitted only at the gamer’s convenience between missions.
-
Everything in game is fictional: Acknowledgement that in-game events, including visiting in-game venues, are purely fictional.
His wife playfully signed the document on camera, leading to a wave of amused reactions across social media.

“It’s just a joke between us”
While the post drew plenty of laughs from the gaming community, some netizens, particularly overseas commenters, took the contract a bit too seriously, raising concerns over relationship boundaries.
Speaking directly to WORLD OF BUZZ, Julian clarified that the entire setup was purely created for comedy and meant as lighthearted fun between him and his wife.
“I think some people are reacting quite negatively to the post. But I think they’re missing the whole point of the video.
“It’s meant to be a lighthearted joke between my wife and me, not something to be taken seriously. There are no actual penalties or consequences, and we both know it’s just for fun,” Julian shared with WORLD OF BUZZ.
