Malaysians have been amused at a short video clip taken from the Parliament session yesterday (9 November) during Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s speech.

That’s because, lurking in the background, was Mat Sabu trying to get back to his seat while trying not to disturb Anwar while he was presenting his speech.

From the video, you can see the endeared Mat Sabu discreetly pulling out Anwar’s chair to make space for him to pass through and slowly squeezing his way through before reaching over to pull back the chair in place.

Before he sits down at his designated seat, Mat Sabu does a little bow in the direction of Anwar but was probably intended for the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat.

Anwar wasn’t even fazed by the little commotion happening behind him as he continues to give his speech without being distracted.

Here’s the video:

This scene, of course, is not anything out of the ordinary, but netizens have found it rather entertaining and have expressed their amusement on Twitter.
