Last Friday, a netizen from Sungai Petani, Kedah went to Ipoh with her husband during the weekend. Unfortunately, her bag was snatched and the perverted snatch thief was even bold enough to make multiple phone calls to sexually harass her female family members.

The netizen known as Chai Yin decided to share her experience on Facebook to warn others about this perverted snatch thief. Here’s what she wrote.

“I was sitting alone in the coffee shop when a stranger suddenly snatched my bag. I yelled for my husband but the thief was already gone.”

“After contacting the banks to deactivate my cards, I received a lot of messages saying that a man called them using my phone number and talked nonsense. He had called my aunt, mother and grandma.”

“Later, he used his own phone number and called all the female contacts on my phone.”

After the victim was done lodging a police report, she received a call from her mother saying that her younger sister was on the phone with the pervert as she was trying to lure him out.

The perverted guy asked the younger sister a bunch of sexual related questions. He even asked her the size of the shirt she was wearing. What a sick guy.

“Seeing that, my husband got in touch with the culprit and persuaded him to meet up. We didn’t have much hope on him showing up, but he did after half an hour.”

When the thief showed up on a motorcycle, he looked unstable and was stuttering when speaking, which led them to believe that he was high on drugs. In fact, he even admitted taking drugs in the following video after being questioned by the rather fierce husband.

He also pleaded them to settle the issue amicably without calling in other parties.

“He returned my purse and handphone to me, but not my bag. He insisted that it was his cousin brother who snatched my bag.”

“We planned to let him go, but the moment I saw his handphone, I knew it was him as I recognised him walking into the shop holding that particular phone.”

The husband then roughed up the man a little who was later taken away by the police. Since the victim and her husband couldn’t stay long in Ipoh, the perverted guy was released on the same night. What?!

However, it was believed that the culprit’s phone belonged to someone else and it was loaded with upskirt photos and videos focusing on women’s chests. The police had also contacted the rightful owner of the phone.

“The police told me it’s possible that the suspect was there to take my pictures, but decided to snatch my bag after seeing me sitting alone.”

The post has since gone viral on Facebook with over 4,000 shares. Many netizens pointed out that he was allegedly the same guy who was caught red-handed in AEON Kinta City for taking women’s pictures in March. Here’s the video.

If he’s the same person responsible for both incidents, then something must be done before another innocent woman becomes his next target. Also, how come he managed to walk away after snatching the bag?
