When you’re the cause of an accident, the least you can do is stop and help the people you’ve injured, or worse, killed. But, sadly, hit and run cases still happen every day, with justice going undone for victims and their families.
Rain Bi took to her Facebook profile to seek justice for her sister, Christine, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday (27 January). With her posting, she hopes that anyone who has dashboard camera footage of the incident will step forward to help find her sister’s murderer.
She wrote, “27 January 2021. Wednesday evening at around 6pm. The scene of the crime: On the road from the Puchong toll station to USJ, there was a hit-and-run incident just before the overpass at the One City Shell petrol station. According to the police, a witness saw a car turning without signalling, and hit my sister who rides a Yamaha R15, license plate TCA922.”
“We hope that anyone who passed by here during that time period, if your car cam has footage of the incident, please call me (Ms Wong 016-6599300). Thank you for the help.”
“This happened when she was delivering food to customers during working hours. We just want to know the truth. My sister was only 30-years-old and her career was just taking off. She should have a long way to go. I kept asking myself, why didn’t the perpetrator help her immediately after hitting her, why didn’t you get out of the car to check on her, why did you let her wait for death?”
Anyone with any information in regards to this accident, or better yet, has dashboard camera footage of the incident, please do help this family to seek justice for their fallen loved one by reaching out to the number stated above.
We genuinely hope that Christine’s killer is brought to justice.
Rest in peace, Christine.
