Train rides can get pretty boring, especially when the destination is far and the journey long.

However, sometimes, people like this Singaporean aunty make the experience less dry and we are not complaining!

Recently, a video of a lady dressed eccentrically on an MRT coach was shared on the Facebook page, Singapore Incidents.

Since being posted a couple of days ago, the video has gained more than 3k views.

The lady captured the attention of netizens with her unconventional bright outfit and her sitting posture on the train’s seats.

First, netizens were amused by how similar her appearance was to that of the train’s mascot, whose picture was right beside her.

Both ladies wore a pink top, thick framed round glasses and hairstyles with bangs.

But the aunty’s outfit was more special lah. Unlike the mascot that dressed in all pink, she jazzed up her outfit with a sparkly thick headband, a satin skirt and white socks paired with a pair of flip flops.

Then, they pointed out how comfortable the aunty appeared to be as she read a newspaper with both her legs on the seat, effectively taking up two seats on her own.

Comment 1

How ironic it is that the aunty looked like the mascot but was doing something completely opposite to what the mascot was advocating for, “Show you care. Offer this seat“.

We will never know if the aunty had a good reason for needing two seats, but her outfit was definitely refreshing!
