When the police arrived, they saw the motionless body and upon investigation, they concluded that the woman has been dead for about five days. Along with the body, the police also found a 30-year-old mentally challenged lady, who is the daughter of the deceased.

The daughter had always been in the house, however, because of her condition, she did not know how to call for the police and she was scared to leave the house. As reported by Lianhe Wanbao, the daughter had an intellectually-disabled condition which causes her to behave like a child. The daughter would only follow the mother everywhere and would not talk or interact with strangers.

Their relatives have since come forward and claimed the woman’s body and will be giving her a final send-off as well as provide care for the daughter. Condolences from us to the woman’s family and loved ones.
