Just when you think that humans could not be any more cruel, yet another instance of animal abuse comes to show that some people have little to no compassion for even the most hapless four-legged creatures.
In a post recently uploaded by the Borneo Animal Welfare Society, Sabah, it was revealed that they had encountered a mother dog that had been viciously attacked by an unknown assailant above her eye. The incident was found to have taken place at Vista Minintod, Penampang on 29th November 2019 (Friday).

The wound had left a large gash where she can be seen profusely bleeding from, and this is on top of the fact that the poor dog had just given birth to a litter of five puppies. While the animal activist group managed to secure the dog and her puppies, one of her puppies had unfortunately passed away.

They were promptly brought to the Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) pound for care, where the open wound on the mother dog’s head is said to have been treated. She will be kept under close observation by the veterinary team until her condition is declared properly stable, and she has been given the name Vista. Vista and her puppies will be put up for adoption soon, after she has been neutered and her condition is stabilised.
