Invisibility.

What would you do if you were granted such a power? For this one guy, he decided that it would be a good way to snag some quick cash.

A thief who specialises in breaking into houses and empty buildings was finally caught by the North Jakarta Police Precinct Unit a few days ago. According the briefing they gave to the press, the man’s modus operandi was actually a lot more ‘revealing’ than anyone could have thought.

According to Tribunnews, police chief Budhi Herdi Susianto said that the man, also known as HL, broke into buildings in his birthday suit in accordance with his tok guru’s strong suggestion.

According to his belief, being naked would make him invisible throughout the robbery.

“He was buck naked. He would strip off everything and make sure that there was not even a single thread on his body before he would start the crime. This was because he believed that by being naked, no one can see him,” said Budhi

Sadly the ‘spell’ didn’t work because you can clearly see him in a recording from the crime scene’s CCTV that captured his every move.

Before being captured, HL had robbed 6 other locations before he was outed by the eye-opening video. Among some spoils he has successfully plundered are 30 units of tablets from a library in North Jakarta.

Using the recordings, the police searched and successfully found the man. HL was captured around the Tanjung Pirok area when he was consuming drugs during the daylight. HL had been jailed previously for drug abuse and he was just released recently.

However, this time the thief didn’t work alone. His partner in crime managed to escape, and the police are looking for him as of the moment.

LOL! But wait, if he managed to steal from 6 places before this, maybe the spell legit works?
