Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun, tested positive for Covid-19 after receiving her swab test results last night (10 January).

She underwent the screening at Klinik Kesihatan Putrajaya yesterday morning. According to a statement released by the ministry, Rina Harun has been admitted to Hospital Sungai Buloh at 11am today for medical authorities to carry out further monitoring.

The minister reassured the public that every SOP set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) will be strictly followed. She also apologised if the issue caused any inconvenience in any way.

“In her absence, the minister will make sure the ministry’s work of welfare, defence, empowerment and development for target groups and all operations of the ministry will continue as usual.”

With Economic Affairs Minister Mustapa Mohamed testing positive yesterday, could this be a rise of another political cluster?
