A restaurant situated at a shopping mall in Kota Tinggi, Johor was forced to close by the Johor health authority, after a video of this worker’s child caught peeing went viral on social media.
The video, which was taken from an eye-witness camera, saw the worker cooking and ‘managing’ her son at the same time took the internet by storm.
Here is a video of the incident.
According to Johor health and unity committee chairman Ling Tian Soon, an inspection found that the level of cleanliness at the outlet in Kota Tinggi was unsatisfactory.
“Officers from the Kota Tinggi Health Department were dispatched to the outlet at 11.45am, following the video which was uploaded onto the Khas Orang Kota Tinggi Facebook page circa 11.30am.”
“Investigations found that the outlet was rented out to non-Malaysians.”
Other offences recorded by the department include unhygienic food storage, dirty flooring, dusty walls, uncovered and dirty dustbins.
“Premises closure orders have been issued under Section 12 of the Food Act 1983 and Section 10(1) of the same Act.”
