The fight against Covid-19 is far from over. Honestly speaking, it could take some time; at least until we have a useable vaccine. At the moment, our front-liners are facing the challenge of containing the spread of the virus from the Sivaganga Cluster which has now reached Shah Alam.
To make matters worse, there is a case detected in Setapak too. Yep, specifically in the Genting Court Condominium. This was made known to the public after the management of a nearby condominium, Prima Setapak Condominium, released a memo to remind its residents to be mindful of the places that they visit. The memo explained, as shared by KL Netizens,
“Genting Court at Setapak, has just announced that one of their residents was tested positive for Covid-19 today (7th August). The said resident is a young Myanmar girl staying with her family in Genting Court. The rest of her family are being quarantined in their unit.”
The management has also advised its residents to take necessary precautions when going to the nearby eateries and shops around Prima Setapak and Setapak area.
We would like to remind our readers, especially those who are living in the area to continue to practice physical distancing, wear a mask, use hand sanitizer and avoid crowded areas. We need to urgently adhere to all of these SOPs if we want to have a chance of winning against the dreadful virus.
