With the third Covid-19 wave still ongoing in the country, it is absolutely crucial that the people take extra precaution to ensure that the virus doesn’t spread further. This includes staying home as much as we can and strictly following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) when we’re out in public.
However, some people still seem to be a little too lax, especially when the situation isn’t exactly under control yet.
A man in his 50s was spotted wearing a pink wristband at the Jelutong Market in Penang at 8am this morning (16 November), reported Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS.
RELA members were at the market and decided to check on the man as he was acting suspicious. Upon pulling up his long sleeves, a pink bracelet was found on his wrist.
The date on the bracelet shows that the man was required to undergo quarantine from 5 to 16 November. As today is the last day of his quarantine, it is unclear if the man was given any punishment for being out in public.
We understand sometimes it’s simply tiring to follow these rules but lets not become weary of following the SOPs during this time as there are many new cases appearing in Malaysia.
