Rapid KL Exposes LRT Passengers Who Didn’t Get The Memo About Face Masks & Covid-19

So, the number of Covid-19 cases are on the rise again and many have been blaming those traveling to and from Sabah, especially during their state election weekend.

But, no one seems to be highlighting the fact that the LRTs and KTMs have become a little too crowded again and many have also been ‘forgetting’ their face masks.

Rapid KL took to their Facebook page to showcase how passengers are neglecting Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) by choosing to not wear a face mask or wearing their face masks wrongly on LRTs.

They wrote, “A friendly reminder to all the passengers that we love. Wearing a face mask is MANDATORY and VERY IMPORTANT while you are on the train, bus or other public places. We ask that everyone stay disciplined when it comes to wearing face masks while in crowded places where physical distancing is difficult.”

“Remember the sacrifices of the frontliners who are constantly fighting to eradicate the Covid-19 outbreak,” they added.

Malaysians, can we afford another Movement Control Order? The least we can do is adhere to the SOPs set in place and do our part by wearing our face masks properly.
