Rapid KL: Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT Line is Experiencing a Technical Disruption, Repair Works Underway

The Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT Line is experiencing a technical disruption between the Hang Tuah and Pudu stations today (13 October).

Rapid KL took to their Facebook page to share a statement announcing repair works to urgently restore full operations.

The Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT Line is experiencing a technical disruption

They wrote, “Rapid Rail’s engineering team is currently at the scene of the incident to carry out repair work to restore normal operations as soon as possible.”

“To ensure the safety and smooth transport of passengers, auxiliary police officers and station staff have been placed at platforms and concourses to assist passengers. Regular announcements regarding train schedules will also be made at the stations.”

 

Alternative train services

To ensure passengers can still continue on their journeys, Rapid KL has activated alternative train services as follows:

  • Trains from the Sentul Timur station will turn back at the Bandaraya station
  • Intermediary train between the Hang Tuah station and the Bandaraya station
  • Intermediary train between the Chan Sow Lin station and the Pudu station
  • Intermediary train between the Hang Tuah station and the Pudu station
  • Trains from the Putra Heights station and the Ampang station will turn back at the Chan Sow Lin station
