Where there’s a will, there’a way. And you bet that when kids can find a way to get out of doing homework, they’re going to make the most out of it! In a report by The Independent, it was revealed that a group of very sneaky students who were quarantined at home due to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak tried to dodge homework duty in one of the most high-tech ways possible.

Instead of just telling their teacher that their dog ate their homework, living in a digital age means doing things a little differently. In China, where the Covid-19 coronavirus epidemic has hit the hardest, schoolchildren who are forced to remain quarantined at home still have to do homework.

How? Well, homework is sent to them from their schools via an app called DingTalk.

And being children of the digital age, they decided to hash a plan together to take the app off both the Google and Apple app store. By leaving 1-star reviews. Over and over.

One review even said “Imagine having to do homework while you’re possibly going to die from a disease.”

In fact, their constant bombarding of the app got the app’s ratings to drop down to only 1.4 stars from its initial 4.9 star rating. However, despite their best efforts, the app still remains available to download. And yes, they still have to do their homework.

Which comes to show that try as you might, you just can’t, and you really shouldn’t, bail out on a good education!
