Considering clubs are not allowed to open while the Covid-19 virus is around, many are resorting to throwing private parties in their own homes or at rented properties.

One party in Batu Ferringhi, Penang was raided by police, who then apparently found illegal drugs.

The Penang Kini Ori Facebook page took to their profile to showcase the incident.

They wrote, “Over 30 men and five women were arrested after they were discovered to be involved in a private party at a luxury bungalow at Batu Ferringhi. The raid happened at 11:30pm last night (10 October), and results of investigations and public information on the activities of the group who made the bungalow a party venue include drug abuse following the discovery of a number of illicit substances.”

They added that the luxury bungalow unit is used as a rental property on a daily basis for private parties since entertainment outlets have yet to be allowed to reopen.

Considering Covid-19 can spread from people to people no matter the location, there is still the risk of infection even if you decide to party privately.

We genuinely hope that no one was infected during this incident.
