There are several things that one must buy when in Taiwan, which includes their beauty products, local snacks and of course, the famous milk tea packaged in pretty bottles known as Chun Cui He or Just Drink. I’m sure you have seen them before; they come in a variety of flavours, and almost everyone who goes there would post a photo of themselves drinking the popular tea.

Previously, if Malaysians wanted to get their hands on this drink, they would have to cross the causeway over to Singapore or head to specialty convenience stores (where prices will be more expensive!) to buy one. But now, we don’t need to do so, because 7-Eleven Malaysia has brought the bottled milk tea craze to our shelves! Gimme some now!

They announced the arrival of the milk tea on their Facebook page with the caption,

“Be the first in Malaysia to grab yourself a bottle of the famous Taiwanese beverage that has everyone raving from 7-Eleven today! Just Drink!”

This got netizens going crazy over it and got more than 6,000 shares in just three hours. Based on their post, it seems that they will be launching three flavours in Malaysia, which are Latte, Milk Tea and Earl Grey Milk Tea. And they come in very pretty coloured bottles too!

7-Eleven also mentioned that the milk tea will be available in selected outlets in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang, and has subsequently put up a list of the participating stores on their Facebook page. According to some comments from netizens, the original price of the drink is RM9.50 but it seems that they are currently having a promotion where the bottles are selling for RM8.95 each.

And since the weather is so hot nowadays, it’s time for me to grab one to cool down!
