We think it’s fair to say that we might have one of the coolest Prime Minister ever. Yesterday (6 April), Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin went live on national broadcast to announce the additional economic package specifically for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). This package encompasses a value up to RM10 Billion to help out the SMEs.

Announcement aside, our PM also acknowledged that Malaysians are getting creative during the Movement Control Order (MCO). In his speech, the Prime Minister said that he is aware of people turning his speeches into raps.

“I saw videos on social media where husbands were wearing their wife’s bat-like dresses, quite peculiar. They were also people who rode a bicycle indoors and some even converted my speeches into raps. I hope it’s nothing weird. It’s something you do to get over boredom during MCO,” said Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

And he goes on to say that he is completely okay with it as it shows Malaysians’ creativity during these trialing times. How cool is that!

With the Prime Minister’s approval on live broadcast yesterday, we have compiled the remixes and songs inspired by his speech! Some of these Malaysians are extremely talented!

A lot of netizens believe that this was the viral video that the Prime Minister was talking about in his speech. The beat is quite catchy and the dancer in the video is guaranteed to crack you up!

In another turn of events, some of these creative products even drew inspiration from the infamous Makcik Kiah that baffled many. Check it out!

There are even songs that incorporated Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s plea towards the people to just stay at home.

Amidst all the ingeniousness, an unexpected find was a video of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s speech in lofi. The creator of this version wanted some beats to calm those who are anxious regarding #stayathome. Innovative indeed!

It’s great to see that the MCO is bringing out the creative side of people and the outcome from this helps create an impact towards others who are also at home. Most of these songs bring the message of asking people to continue remaining at home until the MCO is over.

We should all resume our fight against the Covid-19 pandemic by playing our part and #juststayathome .
