Some of the real heroes throughout this whole political discourse are the journalists who patiently wait for any information so that it can be presented to the public. First, we were delighted with the Agong and Permaisuri, who bought KFC and McDonald’s for the tired journalists who were waiting under the hot sun. Now, it seems like another group has joined this act of kindness!
Tune Talk has been giving ice cream, mineral water, biscuits, notebooks and also umbrellas to the journalists.
The CEO of Tune Talk Ameen Amaendran told that in times like this the press are the ones working hard and the company is doing their best to make sure journalists are comfortable while waiting for updates. Tune Talk even shared some cute videos and pictures of the journalists rushing for the goodies.
We can’t help but be all AWW at these moments when huge corporate companies like Tune Talk spare a second thought to those they know are working hard.
However, it does seem like the journalists have their work cut out for them as the final verdict of the political discourse is still not out yet. The YDPA started interviewing MPs yesterday (25th February 2020) at 2.30pm to determine who has the majority parliament. He interviewed 90 out of 222 MPs yesterday, and rest today (26th February).
During these trying times, it’s important we look out for each other. Kudos to Tune Talk for this selfless act and thinking about the little guys!
