Rosie was so weak when Oh Chin Ying found her. The poor puppy couldn’t even get out of the canal in Pasir Ris, Singapore and she was exposed to the risk of being swept away by the waters in the canal.

Without wasting any time, Chin Ying took her to the vet which was about 10 minutes away. The whole rescue process was documented through Instagram. When they reached the vet, Rosie was given a bath to remove almost all the ticks that were on her. She was also given a meal which she gobbled up quickly.

Sadly, the blood test results came in and Rosie had a bunch of diseases like babesia, hookworm and anaemia. The vet only gave her a 40% chance of survival. The recovery process is very challenging for Rosie. Initially, she struggled to even open her eyes. But as the day passes, she slowly shows signs of gaining the strength to walk again.

By day 10, she finally had the strength and energy to walk by herself! Woot woot! After almost a month from the rescue, Rosie had recovered fully and she is like a brand new dog with a brand new life!
