A viral video shows a herd of elephants being ‘scolded’ before returning to the forest in Perak
In the video, the individuals were driving along an undisclosed location on JRTB when they encountered 4 adult elephants and 1 calf on the roadside.

One of the men then playfully called out to the elephants and even counted each one before asking them to go deeper into the forest.

However, his request had the opposite effect, as the elephants instead approached the vehicle.

The individuals then knocked on the vehicle and ‘scolded’ the elephants. One of them then pointed to the elephants where to go, and surprisingly, the majestic animals actually followed his lead.

As the elephants retreated to the forest, the men then playfully thanked them.

Malaysians share their two cents about the video
In the comments, some netizens were amused by the interaction, while others were amazed at how the elephants seemed to understand what the men were saying.
One commenter pondered what sort of deep knowledge the individuals possessed to be able to interact with the elephants in such a way.

Meanwhile, one netizen jokingly asked whether he could use the same knowledge with his ‘elephant’ at home.
Besides that, a commenter joked that the elephants approached the vehicle because they thought the individuals were bringing them food, only to leave disappointed.
