The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has confirmed that it is currently in the midst of tracing a foreign man who has allegedly been stalking a local female convenience store worker in Serdang, Selangor.

In a statement today, Serdang Police Chief Assistant Commissioner A. A. Anbalagan said that the suspect is believed to be a foreign worker from India and has allegedly been stalking and harassing the woman at her workplace at Taman Sri Serdang since early this year.

The latest incident happened on 22 July while she was working at the shop, prompting the victim to lodge a police report.

Serdang Police said that the foreign man used to work at a carwash near the convenience store but has transferred to another outlet since 22 April. However, the alleged harassment and stalking continued.
