PDRM Temporarily Blocks Traffic While Abang Polis Rescues Baby Monkey Stuck on Ampang Road

The kind actions of personnel from the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department (JSPT) to save a scared baby monkey stuck on the divider in between two roads in Ampang, Selangor has earned them praise from Malaysians.

In an incident that took place yesterday (12 February) in front of Petron Pandan Perdana Ampang, the JSPT temporarily blocked traffic on the road so that the baby monkey could be safely rescued.

PDRM took to their official Facebook page to share a video of the incident, in which a JSPT officer, Sergeant Hairil Abd Gapol of the Ampang District Police helped to pick up the scared baby monkey and bring it to safety.

The officer was also aided in saving the baby monkey by a concerned bystander, a man wearing a red shirt.

Despite initial retaliation from the scared and confused animal, it was successfully picked up by the Abang Polis, who then brought it safely across the road to safety.

As he was doing this, the camera panned to the left to show how other JSPT personnel from the Ampang District Police had blocked off traffic on the road temporarily so that the monkey could be safely rescued.

Malaysians praise the JSPT personnel and the concerned bystander for their quick actions

In the comments section, Malaysians heap praises on Sergeant Hairil for having no hesitations in saving the baby monkey despite it being a wild animal.

Furthermore, many praised the concerned bystander too for helping the rescue operation until the very end.

One commenter lauded the JSPT personnel of the Ampang District Police for their awesome teamwork in saving the monkey’s life.

Besides that, many Malaysians prayed that all the police personnel involved and the man wearing the red shirt be rewarded by God for their kind actions.
