The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently on the hunt for a man suspected of taking upskirt videos of women at a shopping mall in Subang Jaya.
According to a report by Sinar Harian, the Subang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, shared that his department received a report regarding this incident, where CCTV footage showed the man suspiciously holding a phone near female customers wearing skirts.


Investigations are currently underway to track down the man as well as to identify the victims involved, under Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
“The public is advised not to disseminate or share any videos or recordings that may harm the victims’ dignity and interfere with police investigations,”
“Information can be channelled to Assistant Superintendent Siti Sarah Johari at 013-209 7958 or 03-7862 7222 or to your nearest police station,” he added.
A viral video


Prior to this, CCTV footage of the incident had gone viral online via the #InfoUpdate X page, where a man could be seen squatting near a female customer while his phone was suspiciously angled under female customers’ skirts.
