A woman recently took to social media to share her frustration after a five-hour bus ride, claiming the driver, whom she dubbed “heartless,” refused to make any stops throughout the journey.

Posting on Facebook, she recalled the trip from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2 to Ipoh, which took five hours instead of the originally estimated three-hour journey.

The bus driver allegedly ignored passengers’ requests for toilet breaks

According to United Daily, the passenger shared that she had originally bought a 5 PM ticket, but the schedule on site showed the bus had already departed at 4:50 PM.

However, the bus only arrived at 5:30 PM and didn’t actually leave until 5:40 PM. To make matters worse, the service was suddenly switched to a bus from another company without any notice.

During the journey, she said she and her family were seated on the upper deck, where the air conditioning was blasting.

Not long after, they started feeling the urgent need to use the restroom. The woman and her family made multiple attempts to ask the driver for a pit stop, but were brushed off.

She claimed they knocked on the driver’s door and called out to him for over an hour, but he never responded. She then tried calling the complaint hotline displayed inside the bus, only to find that the number was invalid.

Her child was forced to relieve himself in a bottle

The woman eventually managed to contact the company, but although someone initially answered, no action was taken, and they later stopped responding to her calls.

With no stop in sight for hours, she alleged that her child was forced to relieve himself in a bottle and a diaper.

Following the incident, she lodged an official complaint with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) via SISPAA, calling for a thorough investigation into the bus company’s management and safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
