Malaysians might be used to seeing our police officers escorting VIPs on the roads, but we’ll never get used to being the ones having to stop for them.

Despite this, we’ll still stop purely because we’re supposed to by law but at the end of the day, depending on what kind of vehicle we’re driving, it makes it difficult to quickly come to a stop when faced with a PDRM escort.

Malaysians are now pissed off and condemning the police after a PDRM officer got angry at a lorry driver for not being able to quickly come to a complete stop for an escort to pass. Amran Fans took to his Twitter account to showcase the video.

He wrote, “Even if you really want to block the way for a VVIP, you have to think a little bit of what you’re stopping is a lorry. Do you think that if a lorry breaks, it’ll immediately come to a stop?”

“Do take this as a lesson for cases after this.”

In the video showcase from the POV (point of view) of the lorry driver, a PDRM officer could be seen blocking the way to stop vehicles for an escort to pass.

Despite the lorry slowing down and slowly coming to a stop, the PDRM officer was seen making angry gestures at the lorry driver for not stopping quickly.

Netizens didn’t take this well as they believe that the lorry driver did everything that they could to accommodate the situation and were not happy that the police officer got angry at that.

“If anything happens, don’t blame the lorry lah. Suddenly telling them to break like that, does he think it’s a Myvi?”

Lorry 2

“PDRM, can you please do IQ tests before recruiting?”

Lorry 3

“Bro forgot to attend physics class. Ah, didn’t think. Bro forgot to use common sense. Is he crazy, he wants a lorry that big to stop abruptly.”

Lorry 4

“Did this brother get the job by using connections? Did he not finish his education? Wanting a lorry to break like a motorbike.”
