Just a few days back, a viral clip took social media by storm, showing multiple luxury cars hogging Elite Highway to shoot a promotional video for an upcoming supercar event.

One of the drivers even drove on the emergency lane, prompting many netizens to express their annoyance towards what they saw given how it affected many other road users at the back. The viral clip has since reached the attention of the police, and actions have finally been taken.

In a police statement shared by Selangor Police on its Facebook page, PDRM revealed that the owner of the Facebook page Utama Motors, who initially shared the clip has been called to assist in the investigation. A summon has also been issued for obstructing the traffic under the Road Transportation Act 1987.

PDRM urged the public to always follow the traffic rules to avoid potential accidents and trouble. The supercar convoy on the Highway recently cause 1km of traffic when multiple supercars hogged ALL 4 lanes.

Hopefully, history will not repeat itself again. We will never know what kind of trouble we may cause to other road users, especially those in a rush.
