Once you lay a hand on someone regardless of what happens, you should definitely expect legal consequences, especially if you cause injuries.

Just recently, a teenager who works at a convenience store in Semenyih, Selangor was punched in the face by 1 of the customers who refused to pay for his purchase. The perpetrator came in with another man in a black shirt and cap.

The 18-year-old worker was punched in the face repeatedly by the man in a green t-shirt, and he continued to kick the victim even when he fell onto the floor. The victim’s co-worker tried to stop the men but to no avail, causing the victim to be injured and bleed from his nose.

Not only that but the man in green also recorded the injured victims with his phone.

Instead of leaving immediately, the man in the cap had the audacity to take a selfie with the victim, who had blood on his face.

It didn’t take long for police to start investigating the matter after the victim and his family lodged a report about the incident.

All for 3 umbrellas?

According to a police statement issued last night (20 June), the men came into the store yesterday around 5 in the morning. The man in green took 3 umbrellas and wanted to leave the scene without paying for them, which prompted the victim to stop him.

A verbal argument ensued before the man in green started to punch the victim in the face.

PDRM in Kajang is currently on the hunt for both men and the matter is being investigated under Section 394 Penal Code.

“If found guilty, suspects can be jailed up to 20 years with canes or fines.”

The police also urged the public to come forward and provide relevant information about the suspects. As of now, the images and the CCTV footage of the incident have circulated on social media.

We hope that the suspects will be caught in no time. If you think that violence makes you a hero, keep in mind that it comes with consequences that will have a long-term effect on your life.
