A driver in Johor was struck by another road user with a wooden weapon

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed it received a report from the victim, a 53-year-old local man who works as a warehouse attendant in Singapore.

According to Chief of the Johor Bahru Selatan District Police ACP Raub Bin Selamat, the incident occurred on 13 January (Tuesday), at approximately 9:15 PM, leaving the victim injured.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect became upset after the complainant nearly collided with his vehicle while exiting a petrol station.

“The suspect then got out of his car and struck the complainant’s hand with a wooden object, causing cuts and swelling on his right hand,” the statement read.
