The late Farah Kartini was brought to multiple places before she was murdered, according to PDRM.

In a report by Astro Awani, Hulu Selangor Chief Police Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said Farah Kartini was brought to a cassava (ubi) farm in Tanjung Malim, Perak, which is about 40 km away from the crime scene. The police have a witness to prove that.

“We have recorded the statement of the farm worker on Saturday (July 20), who confirmed the presence of the suspect and the victim.”

PDRM added that they are recording the statements of other witnesses at the location and collecting more evidence.

In the meantime, the police are also reviewing multiple CCTVs around Tanjung Malim, which were believed to be the stops before Farah was eventually brought to the location where her body was discovered – the palm oil plantation in Kampung Sri Keledang, Hulu Bernam, Hulu Selangor.

Earlier, PDRM found Farah’s mobile phone in the ditch near the crime scene, which the police dubbed the most important evidence to aid the investigation. At the time of writing (July 21), more work is being done to gain more evidence in Sungai Trolak, Kampung Batu 4.

“We’re still waiting for the water level of the river to recede,” Ahmad said.

Last week, Farah Kartini went missing after passing a rented car to a customer before her body was found. Farah’s alleged boyfriend, a 26-year-old suspect who is also a PDRM officer, was arrested.
