Recently, a university student in Perak went missing after giving a rented car to a customer. She supposedly booked an e-hailing service to get to work, but she never showed up.

In the wake of this incident, on Monday, July 15th, the Selangor Contingent Police confirmed that the body of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah was discovered at a palm oil plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor.

The man questioned by the police is believed to be the victim’s boyfriend.

According to Sinar Harian, Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said, a 26-year-old civil servant has been arrested for questioning.

“Upon initial examination, the police confirmed that the body was believed to be that of the victim reported missing in connection with the Tanjung Malim case last Wednesday,” he added.

The investigation is now being treated as a murder case, and the body was found around 6 pm last night.

They questioned 7 individuals, and the customer who rented the car.

According to Kosmo, the 25-year-old from Miri, Sarawak, was discovered missing on July 10th before a police report was filed the following day.

The police have questioned 7 people to help help with the investigation. Superintendent Mohd. Hasni Mohd. Nasir, the police chief in Muallim District, said they talked to her coworkers and the customer who rented the car that day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family. May they find strength during this difficult time.
