“Kuantan would be nice”, Nanami said in the episode and immediately gained the attention of many Malaysians, including those who don’t watch the anime.

The effort to contact the writers of Jujutsu Kaizen, according to state exco Leong Man Yu, is an effort to further promote the beach in Kuantan following the viral news about the episode that mentioned Kuantan. Guess what? Fans of the anime, you also had a part to play in the state exco’s decision, according to BFM News and Sinar Harian.
