Oyen Rushed to Vet For Treatment After Suffering Injuries Due to Elmina Plane Crash

The plane crash which occurred near the City of Elmina township in Shah Alam, Selangor on Thursday (August 17) left plenty injured and a couple of people dead.

However, it doesn’t seem as if the crash had only caused injury to humans. According to an Instagram post shared by the Zul Erwan Veterinary Clinic, an ‘Oyen’ cat was rushed to the vet for treatment by the Health Ministry’s (KKM) ambulance team.

In pictures shared by the clinic, the Oyen appeared to have suffered injuries on the left side of its body believed to have been caused by either debris from the crash or as the cat tried to run away.

The post also thanked the authorities for their fast response in rescuing the animal.

Following it, the cat has since received a flood of get well soon messages from netizens who also expressed gratitude towards the vets and authorities who rescued and treated the cat.

 

We hope that the Oyen makes a speedy recovery!
