We all grew up listening to Owl City right? I mean, who can forget the popular hits ‘Fireflies’ and ‘Vanilla Twilight’!
Well, Adam Young, the man behind Owl City, recently answered a tweet that most of us probably wouldn’t even think of. The man asked about the lyrics to Owl City’s ‘Fireflies‘, questioning:
Now, this really begged the question which didn’t occur to most of us: Is it 1,000 hugs each from 10,000 fireflies, or is it a sadder interpretation where only a fraction of the 10,000 fireflies gave him the hug?
WE NEED ANSWERS NOW!
Subsequently, Adam Young replied this question saying,
TL;DR: It’s actually 1,000 from each firefly!
After his lengthy (and very formal I must say) answer, you’d think everyone would be like, “Oh I see, okay, moving on.” Well, not the Internet! Everybody started asking equally ‘deep’ questions. I must admit that it’s amusing to say the least!
With all these questions, we really need some answers now! We can even feel Adam face-palming himself behind the screen after looking at the mess he has created. Let’s hope he can eventually fill that void with more of his amazingly crafted answers!
