It’s no secret that Malaysia is riddled with snatch thieves. So much so that we’d been told to ‘let it go‘ and ‘just go make a police report‘ anytime anyone encounters a snatch thief.
But there are many out there who are saying, ‘no more‘ to that.
The Koleksi Viral Facebook page took to their profile to showcase an old video that’s going viral again, of how a foreign girl had decided to fight her snatch thieves and how the general public succeeded in assisting her stop and detain them.
Koleksi Viral wrote, “Your bodies are not differently-abled, go get jobs lah. Don’t be snatch thieves. This is what you get!”
This incident took place in the KLCC area around August of last year, 2022.
In the video, the snatch thieves could be seen riding against traffic while the girl was walking on the sidewalk. As they move out of frame, the snatch thief riding pillion succeeds in grabbing the girl’s bag.
Soon after, they moved back into frame where the girl could be seen fighting and trying to get her bag back from the pillion snatch thief on the sidewalk as the other acts as a getaway rider. She was giving the snatch thieves a run for their money when a car drove past them and stopped to help.
Though, as the pillion snatch thief manages to get back on the bike, a food delivery rider suddenly shows up and rams his bike into the snatch thieves. The snatch thieves were still slowly escaping but the food delivery rider dropped his bike to help the girl.
Another person could also be seen running towards them to help from the opposite direction!
More people arrived to assist and they ultimately succeeded in helping the girl get her bag back and detaining the snatch thieves. Though, we must say, what a spectacular effort by the foreign girl!
