Just a couple of weeks ago, Malaysians showed their obvious disdain for the official attire of the Malaysian Contingent bound for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Following that, the attire was redesigned due to the backlash.
Now, another Malaysian Contingent’s attire is receiving a polar opposite reaction from the general public!
Last night, the Paralympic Council Malaysia revealed Malaysian para-athletes’ new official attire for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and Malaysians are absolutely loving it.
Having local para-athletes modelling the attire, they wrote, “Malaysian para-athletes rocking the new official outfit. We are unveiling out latest outfit worn by the incredible Malaysian para-athletes for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games!”
“Meet Muhammad Imaan Aiman from para-swimming and Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahman from Boccia. We are proud of the designs that embody strength, resilience and style. Please show you support and celebrate their journey with us!”
The gorgeous attire comes in a white base with ‘tiger stripes’ in the Malaysian colours, red, blue and yellow.
Shut up and take our money!
Malaysians were truly impressed with the design and believe it’s worthy of being worn and shown off on an international level. Considering how nice the attire is, they also want to get their hands on the outfit!
“This is how it should be done. Now send me a link, I want to buy that bucket hat!”
“Colours and designs like this is what we want for the Olympic kits.”
Some netizens even pointed out how much they love that real Para-athletes are being utilised as models rather than mannequins.
