“If DAP is not interested, please turn off your television and smartphone,” said Puteri UMNO Chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan.

Datuk Zahida said this on her Facebook page in response to Hannah Yeoh’s statements on Twitter, where she called out Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob for laughing at the Rakyat’s confusion over the work from home orders during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

Hannah Yeoh, Member of Parliament for Segambut, had urged Datuk Ismail Sabri to stop holding daily press conferences if there is no substantive announcement that will help the people as it causes more confusion.

Commenting on this, Zahida said she agrees that daily press conferences should be stopped if it is all about propaganda and slander to tarnish the opposition just like how Pakatan Harapan (PH) had done before.

“For the people, every daily information update on the development of Covid-19 presented by Datuk Ismail Sabri and Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah is very important,” she said.

“During the 22 months of (Pakatan Harapan) being the government, how much did it help the people? Besides RM30?”

If DAP is not interested, please turn off your television and smartphone. Simple.”

Responding to Datuk Zahida’s comments, Hannah Yeoh once again took to Twitter to express her thoughts.

She said, “I have not watched Perikatan Nasional (PN) propaganda TV for a long time, but the immature response of Puteri UMNO did not change the misery of the people due to the confusion of the SOP made by the PN Minister”

“You have time for TV, but the people have to work hard to find food to pay loans/employee salaries.”

Undeniably, many have been confused over the work from home orders issued by the Defence Minister, causing much inconvenience and wasted effort.
