In a stunning show of infatuation and love, the Hollywood actor stepped out on the red carpet with his girlfriend during the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci. That fact alone was enough to leave the Internet shook, because Keanu has never been seen this close and intimate with any woman on the red carpet in 35 years of his career!

His girlfriend in question is apparently his business collaborator and celebrated artist, Alexandra Grant, who is 46-years-old this year. The pair were seen to be incredibly close on the red carpet, and their hands never left each other’s! Awww!

The pair apparently met during a collaboration on the books Ode To Happiness and Shadows, which she provided visual art for. They also run a publishing house together called X Artists’ Books.

But did you know why Keanu hasn’t had a girlfriend for so many years? Well, if you don’t already know a bit about Hollywood history in the late 1990s, Keanu was actually dating actress Jennifer Syme.

The couple were reportedly very close and even had a child together, but unfortunately, the baby girl was stillborn and passed away in 1999. But what happened after was even more heartbreaking.

In 2001, Jennifer drove her Jeep Cherokee SUV into a row of parked cars and died instantly. She was only 28. 

With all that’s said about his past, Keanu Reeves seems to be hitting a home run with his newest projects, with a new Matrix film planned on the horizon where he reprises the role of Neo, as well as his much-anticipated appearance on the game Cyberpunk 2077, not to mention his success with the John Wick franchise.
