Day 3 into the Movement Control Order and how are Malaysians handling it? Well, not so good. Somehow, even during a pandemic, we can’t seem to follow simple instruction of just STAYING AT HOME! At this time, some would go eat in stalls, have picnics, and even go on vacations. Yes, one couple who decided to share to their travelling stories to the whole world got to experience the rough tongue of Malaysians first hand.

Twitter user @amiow posted a picture of a Malaysian who was proudly showing that she’s flying to Seoul, Korea on the 18th of March. Yeap! On the first day of the Movement Control Order. To South Korea which currently has 8,652 reported cases of Covid-19!

Her reasoning was that she’s always wanted to travel to South Korea. I mean, that’s reasonable but is this really the best time to be travelling anywhere at all?

You’d think that they would feel at least some remorse or guilt over their selfish actions, right? Well, this is what her husband had to say when netizens called them out for travelling during this outbreak.

“This is for those who just thoughtlessly insult us as though they’re right. I hope you all die infected by the virus. You guys can only talk but don’t think of your actions. If we were to die, it’s already been written. Don’t blame others for how you’re gonna die!”

It’s truly baffling how selfish one can be when the lives of others are at risk. The worst part is that they weren’t apologetic about it. Remember everyone, controlling the outbreak isn’t just one person’s job, it’s everyone’s responsibility. We currently have 900 confirmed cases with no idea whatsoever if it’s gonna reduce. Is this really the time to be inconsiderate? Come on Malaysia, we can do better!
